Former Venezuelan, forward Ale Moreno, has hailed Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella, saying the midfielder would make any team better.

Moreno described the Italy international as one of the best midfielders in Europe.

Jurgen Klopp’s side has been strongly linked with a move for the Italian in recent weeks.

But they are not the only Premier League club interested in the player, with Manchester United and Newcastle United also in the race to sign him;

are also believed to be interested in the 26-year-old.

Speaking on ESPN about the 26-year-old, Moreno said, “No matter what team Nicolo Barella ends up in, he is going to make that team better.

“I really think this is one of the premium midfielders in the world right now.

“He is going to make that club better and he’s going to make that team better.”
