Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi has been decorated with Alumnus Moola, Lapel, among other gifts by the Executive and members of the University of Ife Alumnus, Abeokuta branch, for his contribution to the development of the institution.

This indication came into play when the SSG played host to the Alumnus in his Office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, promising to continue to give back to the school through the renovation of some structures.

Talabi said he was ready to lend support and come up with developmental initiatives that would make the school flourish and shine better among its peers in the world.

The State’s scribe recalled that, ‘’ In my days at the institution, the school impacted me positively, imbued me with excellence and diligence that contributed to my successes today’’.

In his address, the branch Chairman, Engr. Muhammad Abass, appreciated the SSG for his warm reception, saying the Alumnus Association was glad to associate with him, called on other Alumni not to relent in their efforts towards making the school greater, requesting their support on the construction of the Alumnus centre of the institution in Abeokuta.
