Chairman Ijebu North Local Government, Hon Omobolaji Odusanya has felicitated with Nigerian Christians , on the occasion of this year’s Christmas  celebration.

He disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen.

Hon. Odusanya urged Christians to reflect upon the goodness of God in giving humanity His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, whose birth is being celebrated in this season.

In his word “This is a season of joy, It again affords us an opportunity to show appreciation to God, who gave humanity the greatest gift of all time, His son, Jesus Christ.

“The essence of Christmas is the celebrant, the Lord Jesus. So, as we celebrate, let us reflect upon this great gift and reciprocate by giving God our lives and honouring Him with worthy and excellent service.

“This is also an opportunity to bring back peace and healing to our land. Christmas symbolises the love of God. Let us love one another and share whatever blessings God has given to us with others, especially the needy ones among us,” he said.

He therfore urged Christains to use the period to pray for the President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria as a whole.
