The Chief Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and member representing Ijebu-Ode State Constituency, Hon. (Mrs.) Egunjobi Bakare Omolola Serifat, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah and the entire people of Ijebu-Ode on the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Adha.
In a statement made available to Newsmen, Hon. Bakare praised the people of Ijebu-Ode Local Government for their exemplary virtues and urged them to use the celebration as an opportunity to renew their devotion to Allah.
She encouraged Muslims to express love through generous giving, noting that obedience remains a key to unlocking the boundless grace of Allah.
Hon. Bakare reaffirmed her commitment to fostering just, inclusive, and progressive representation, emphasizing that a brighter future awaits Ijebu-Ode State Constituency under her leadership.
“With the developmental strides already underway in our constituency, I assure you of even more unprecedented progress reaching every nook and cranny,” she stated.
Stressing the importance of unity, the Chief Whip called on citizens to embrace tolerance and peaceful coexistence, noting that meaningful development can only occur in a harmonious environment.
She further urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the spirit of sacrifice and brotherhood embodied in the story of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.), emphasizing that obedience to divine instruction comes with immense reward.
