President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the newly appointed service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Although the agenda of the meeting has not been officially confirmed, it is believed to be part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s security architecture.

The presidency had earlier described the appointments as a strategic move to enhance professionalism and efficiency within the armed forces.

Those attending the meeting include Lt-Gen Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-Gen Waidi Shaibu, Chief of Army Staff; Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Aneke, Chief of Air Staff; and Rear Admiral Idi Abbas, Chief of Naval Staff.

The new service chiefs were appointed on Friday.
