The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Diya, has once again demonstrated his deep appreciation for loyalty and dedication by rewarding two of his committed team members with a Toyota Camry and a Bajaj motorcycle.

The beneficiaries, Mr. Ademola Fayemi and Mr. Nurudeen Adekoya, who serves as Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman, were recognized for their unwavering support and longstanding contributions to the success of the administration.

During the presentation ceremony, which was graced by dignitaries across the state, the Honourable Member representing Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Olufemi Ogunbanwo, applauded Dr. Diya for setting a remarkable example of leadership that values loyalty, performance and integrity.

He noted that the gesture would further strengthen unity within the local government and serve as inspiration for others to contribute selflessly to community development, adding that the chairman has shown that there is always a reward for hard work and loyalty.

Speaking with our correspondent via telephone, Dr. Babatunde Diya reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented governance and inclusive leadership. 

He disclosed that more empowerment packages are in pipeline for deserving individuals across the wards being part of his ongoing welfare initiatives.

“It gives me great joy to give back to my people. I made a promise during my campaign to always appreciate those who work diligently for the progress of our local government. This is just one of many steps toward fulfilling that promise,” the Chairman said.

Dr. Babatunde Diya also expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his visionary leadership and continuous support for grassroots development.

“Our success at the local level is a reflection of the enabling environment created by our leader, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun. His leadership has provided a platform for effective governance and opportunities for progress across all local governments".

The beneficiaries however expressed heartfelt appreciations to the Council Chairman for his generousity and encouragement, pledging to redouble their efforts in advancing the growth and progress of Odogbolu Local Government.
