The West Africa Youth League (WAYL) has honoured Aare Dr. Adebayo Odunowo, Chief Executive Officer of Biacom Agro Nigeria Limited, with its prestigious “Man of the Year” Award, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth development, community empowerment, and leadership excellence across the sub-region.

At the award ceremony held recently, the Nigeria Regional President of WAYL, Ambassador Olasukanmi Ijaduoye, described Aare Dr. Adebayo Odunowo as a visionary leader whose commitment to human capacity development and philanthropy continues to inspire young people across West Africa.

He noted that Dr. Odunowo is “a builder of people, a mentor to many, and a patriot whose investments in youth advancement have reshaped narratives within the private and social sectors.”

In his acceptance speech, Aare Dr. Adebayo Odunowo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the West Africa Youth League for finding him worthy of the honour.

He pledged a renewed commitment and sustained support toward youth capital development across Nigeria, reaffirming his belief that the prosperity of any nation rests firmly on the empowerment and active inclusion of its young population.
