The Kollaboration Political Mandate (KPM), led by Evang. James Adekola Iyanutisele Awosanya, has expressed deep condolences to world-renowned boxing champion and Sagamu, Remo indigene, Anthony Joshua, following the tragic death of two of his associates in a fatal car crash on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
In a statement issued to the media, KPM described the incident as heartbreaking and a significant loss to the families of the deceased, as well as to the Sagamu and Remo communities.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Anthony Joshua and the bereaved families at this difficult time. We pray that Almighty God grants eternal rest to the departed souls and gives comfort, strength, and peace to everyone affected by this painful tragedy,” the statement read.
The group also wished Anthony Joshua a speedy recovery and assured him of its solidarity and support, stressing the importance of unity and compassion in moments of grief.
Quoting the Holy Bible, KPM added:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).
KPM prayed that God’s peace would console Anthony Joshua and the grieving families and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
