The Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde O. Onasanya, has congratulated the newly elected leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ogun State Council, urging them to build on the achievements of the past three years.

In a congratulatory message addressed to the Council Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, Mr. Onasanya described the team’s re-election as a strong vote of confidence from members of the Union, noting that the renewed mandate reflects the trust placed in their leadership.

He emphasized that the new tenure presents an opportunity for the Executive to deepen its impact, consolidate on earlier gains, and drive continuous progress across the Council.

The Head of Service also called for unity and inclusiveness, advising the re-elected team to reach out to members of the opposing camp in the spirit of collaboration and collective growth.

While wishing the leadership a productive and harmonious term in office, Mr. Onasanya expressed optimism that the next three years would bring greater progress and prosperity to journalists in Ogun State.

He urged the Olanrewaju-led Executive to be magnanimous in victory.
