The Supervisor for Works and Housing in Ijebu Ode Local Government, Hon. Otutuloro Ibrahim Alade, has extended financial support to residents of Imoru community as part of efforts to ease economic hardship and enhance the welfare of constituents.

The cash distribution exercise, held at Imoru Community in Ijebu Ode, benefited widows, the physically challenged, and elderly residents.

According to Hon. Otutuloro, the initiative was designed to provide immediate relief to vulnerable individuals, as well as support small-scale traders and residents in meeting their basic needs.

He emphasized the importance of responsive leadership and grassroots engagement, noting that the well-being of constituents remains a top priority of the local government administration. He added that the empowerment programme reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and people-oriented policies.

Some beneficiaries of the support, including Mrs. Salisu and Mrs. Alatishe, expressed appreciation for the gesture in separate interviews, describing it as timely and impactful. They also commended the Works Supervisor for maintaining close contact with the people and addressing their concerns beyond infrastructural development.
