….Commends her on Scholarship grant to 100 Students, donation of ICT Centre
The Iperu-Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board (IRETSMB) has expressed profound appreciation to Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Sakirat MADEIN, for her outstanding contributions to educational advancement and youth empowerment in Iperu-Remo.
In a formal letter of appreciation issued by the Chairman of the Board, Professor Adeleke OSHO, the board commended Dr. MADEIN for sponsoring fifty (50) Senior Secondary School students of Christ Apostolic Grammar School for the 2026 WAEC, NECO, and JAMB examinations. The Board described the gesture as a significant intervention that has eased the financial burden on students and their families while strengthening the academic confidence of the beneficiaries.
According to the Board, the sponsorship underscores Dr. MADEIN's steadfast commitment to educational excellence and human capital development within the community. By underwriting the costs of these critical national examinations, she has not only expanded access to opportunity but also reinforced the culture of academic aspiration among young scholars.
The board further acknowledged her foundation’s scholarship awards to one hundred (100) students drawn from Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Akesan Community Grammar School, and Ajagbe High School, all in Iperu. The Board characterized the initiative as a strategic investment in the long-term prosperity of Iperu-Remo, noting that such interventions transcend charity and represent deliberate efforts at sustainable community development.
In addition, the Board commended Dr. MADEIN for the establishment and donation of an ICT Centre aimed at empowering indigenes with essential digital competencies. The ICT facility, provided through the Olowo Oloye Foundation, offers free computer literacy training and is designed to equip beneficiaries with relevant skills for academic growth, employability, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness.
The board described the ICT Centre as a transformative intervention, particularly in an era where digital proficiency is indispensable. He noted that the facility will serve as a critical platform for bridging the digital divide and enhancing technological inclusion within the community.
Professor OSHO stated that Dr. MADEIN’s philanthropy reflects visionary leadership, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility toward community development. He further described her as an iconic daughter of Iperu-Remo whose legacy will be reflected in the success stories of countless beneficiaries.
The Board concluded by extending its highest esteem and prayers for the continued growth and impact of her foundation, expressing confidence that her sustained commitment to education will yield even greater benefits for the community in the years ahead.
Meanwhile, the centre through its Free Adult Weekend Computer Appreciation Course sponsored by the Olowo Oloye Foundation has trained about forty (40) participants comprising four batches (A1, A2, A3, and Weekend Adult IT trainees).
The beneficiaries according to Captain Daniel Akintunde BANJO (Rtd.), Vice Chairman, Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board, included thirty (30) young students drawn from Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu; Aladura Comprehensive College, Ogere; Federal Government Girls’ College, Sagamu; and Mayflower School, Ikenne; whose parents reside in Iperu, as well as ten (10) adults who equally benefited from this educational empowerment initiative.
