A house of assembly aspirant, in Ewekoro State Constituency, Ogun State, Hon. Abiodun Adeleye FCA FCTI has hailed the emergence of Senator Yayi as the consensus governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC ahead of 2027 general elections.

Hon. Abiodun made this known in a congratulatory statement personally signed by him and made available to  journalists in Abeokuta.

He said that  governor Abiodun has written his name in gold in breaking the long-standing succession jinx in the history of Ogun State, saying that the state will not forget him.

The house of assembly hopeful added that Senator Yayi's developmental strides as Senator as earned him the endorsement as governorship candidate, urging the people of the rally support for him at the polls.

" I want to congratulate a performing Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate ahead of the upcoming governorship election. This is well-deserved because the Senator has proven to be the right person to pilot the affairs of the State, his developmental strides across the State led to his emergence and we also want to appreciate our amiable governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun for making it a reality by endorsing him as the consensus governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress. We believe with this, the people of the State will appreciate the governor more for doing what the people want and we believe Senator Yayi will perform excellently well as governor of the Ogun State" he concluded
