Chairman Ijebu-Ode South Local Council Development Area, Hon. Olalekan Adebanjo has reassured the people of his Council Area that good Governance will be the watchword of his administration.
The Chairman made this known while marking the 100 days in office of his administration in Ijebu-Ode.
Adebanjo said good governance in addition to what he termed Constituency Constant Communication (CCC) would enable effective feedback and appropriate exchange of progressive ideas between the residents and the Council, saying good governance should be the bedrock of every administration.
Highlighting his account of stewardship and achievements recorded so far, the Chairman said the council had cleared  heaps of refuse in and around the Oba S K Adetona market, Oke Aje as well as the entire council area, adding that a committee had been inaugurated to ensure compliance to proper disposal of refuse in the LCDA.
He added that the LCDA had carried out some palliative  on some roads in the council area which include Olisa, Okesuna  and  Awujale Streets among others, adding that work had commenced on a car park for visitors and traders at Oba S. K. Adetona Market, Oke Aje for their convenience.
He thanked the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration for executing laudable projects within the LCDA, promising residents of the council area of more dividends of democracy.
