Ikenne Local Government Boss Inaugurates Economic Development Committee.

The Chairman of Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon. Rotimi Akinsanya has Inaugurated Ikenne Local Government Economic Development Committee recently at the Local Government Secretariat.

Speaking during the Inauguration, Hon. Akinsanya said the committee was set up to unlock the numerous Potentials and human resources in the area of Agro-Industrial development, Mechanised Agriculture, Infrastructural Development that are abound in the Council Area.

He urged the committee to use their wealth of experience to solicit towards Inviting Investors from within and outside the country to Ikenne Local Government for rapid development of Micro Economic Activities within the Council Area.

He further said he sampled the opinions of the Youths in the Local Government Area and was amazed that they really accepted the farming to white collar job especially animal husbandry.

The Chairman said the Agro based rural Economy will drive job and accelerate savings and spending, saying that the mechanized Agriculture, Animal and Poultry Husbandry will turn the present predicament to a money spinning venture.

Akinsanya said he believed in the Economic Development Committee experiences and their Philanthropic contribution to the Community to turn his dream to reality.
