TASUED has the Best Entrepreneurial Training Unit -  Arigbabu

Tai Solarin University of Education has been regarded as the University with Best Entrepreneurial Training Unit that equip graduates with employable skills that would improve their mastery of their choice of Vocation for self actualization.

The Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu disclose this in an interview with the newsmen in Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode recently.

Arigbabu said TASUED  students graduate with two certificates, one in course content and the other in Vocational and Entrepreneurial studies.

" Our Focus is to equip our graduates with employable skills that would improve their mastery of their choice of Vocation for self actualization in the society and make them globally competent in the teaching of their subject and the new Entrepreneurship curriculum content." The VC said.

He said emphasis are place on Vocational Studies to the extent that any student that fails his/her Vocational and Entrepreneurship Courses would not graduate from the University.

" We are already seeing the results of the seeds we planted some years back germinating well and producing excellent results in the performance of some of our Alumni in some National and international Entrepreneurship Competitions and in their chosen Vocations." Prof Abayomi said.

The Vice Chancellor said the centre for Vocational and Entrepreneurship studies established is generally regarded as the best, breaking new grounds in the corporate world of work and lifting high the name and images of our University.

The Vocational and Entrepreneurship studies include fishery, tailoring, piggery, textile, carpentry etc..
