COVID -19 - Ijebu-Ode LG Sensitise Hausa Community, As NYCN gives out free Sanitizer.

As part of measures at curtailing the Spread of Coronavirus, Ijebu-Ode Local Government  has embarked on Sensitisation exercise to the Hausa Community to demonstrate how to Wash their hands and Ensure personal hygiene while the National Youth Council of Nigeria distribute free Sanitizer to the people.


Speaking during the exercise, Chairman Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Engr olugbenga Olugbile urge the Hausa living in Ijebu-Ode Local Government to maintain personal hygiene and always wash their hands regularly with water and soap.

" Some of You deals with food items, why some of You are into buying and selling, we take this Sensitization to your domain as the Government of the grassroots, So we want you make use of what we are teaching you. "  Olugbile said.

Coordinator of the National Youth Council, Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Prince Kazeem Adetola said it is Paramount to sensitize the People at the grassroots level, that is why we the Youths took it upon ourself to give out free Sanitizer to the people.

While the Apex Nurse in the Local Government, Mrs Titilola Peters said Everyone should Endeavor to always clean their Environment, wash their hands regularly and Cough or sneeze to their Elbow.
