The ₦100 MART Project held on 28th December, 2020, and it was a memorable day for the people of Ijebu as people trooped out en masse to partake in this unusual sales.

Despite the short notice, it was gathered that an hour to the scheduled time of sales, crowd had gathered at the Degun area of Ijebu Ode where the event took place.

Initially many people doubted the possibility of this project but its real nature and the success recorded could not be underestimated to the extent that beneficiaries attested to this eventful landmark.

Many of the  recipients could not hide their joy as they showered prayers and gratitude on the organizers—Ijebu Rewa. A few of the beneficiaries  of the ₦100 MART have this to say:

MRS OLANSILE

At first, I thought they have come as usual but to my greatest surprise, it was real, and there is no favouritism attached.

ALHAJI AKEEM

Ijebu Rewa has done what our politicians ought to do. They gave us food at this very unbelievably low price. May they grow bigger.

MADAM JANET

This is a beautiful one from Ijebu Rewa, especially at a time like this when it's hard to get what to eat. I got clothes for my children for the new year.

MISS ABOSEDE

I really commend the efforts of Ijebu Rewa for deeming it fit to feed the needy this festive season.

The Head of Operations of Ijebu Rewa, Mr Owolabi Olalekan, while speaking to newsmen, said "Although Ijebu Rewa is a media platform, our mission goes beyond news dissemination.

He further explained that many empowerment had been done to empower the youths, and to take them out of the street.  ₦100 MART is a project to put smiles on people's faces this festive season without any attachment of favouritism."
