Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has called for an independent investigation into the death of a former CBN deputy governor, Obadiah Mailafia.

Omokri urged relevant authorities to investigate Mailafia’s death because it was ‘Fishy’.

In a tweet, the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, stated;

“Mailafia’s passing is fishy and should be independently investigated,” he tweeted.

It was earlier reported that the former bank chief died at the National Hospital in Abuja on Sunday after a brief illness.
