Honorable commissioner for rural development, Hon. Oludotun Taiwo who is popularly called TWINNY today turned 48 years. 

The social media were awash this morning with congratulatory messages to felicitate the great philanthropist.

The celebrant  is an Abeokuta indigene and was born in October 25, 1973. 

He had his secondary education at Catholic Comprehensive Secondary School, Ibara and then proceeded to study Electrical Electronics at Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta respectively. He also further his studies in Engineering related course at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos and obtained Higher National Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering. Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering from LAUTECH.

He served his fatherland in Delta State after his HND programme between the year.

His quest for an undiluted knowledge made him enrol for Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Power Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

This unrepentant engineer has certificates in Public Utility Regulation & Strategy in 2009 at University of Florida, USA and another certificate in Fundamental of Power Sector Operations, Economics and Finance in 2013.

He is a member of the following associations:

1. Nigeria Society of Engineering (NSE).

2. Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

3. Federal Government Committee on Metering Code for the Nigeria Electrical Regulatory Commission (NERC) between 2011 and 2013.

Oludotun was employed and attained the post of General Manager of UNISTAR HI-TECH SYSTEMS LIMITED, in Ojota, Lagos between 2004 and 2018.

In his quest to further enhance his community services prowess, he joined the All Progressive Congress in 2013 and aspire for the House of Assembly in 2015. Based on popular demand, he was prevailed upon by the people of his community to represent them at the hollow chamber of the State and he acceded. He got the ticket of the APC in 2019 but lost the election as a result of electoral intrigues. 

In his kitty, Oludotun has several awards in Humanitarian Services, 

Royal Ambassador of Nigeria, to mention but few.

He is a lover of integrity and team building.

His vision is to make positive impact in the society and to make each second count for better.

The celebrant is a frontline politician, astute engineer and an House of Assembly candidate in 2019  under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun state.
