HON. MUSA CHARGES DUFIL CYWAY, OTHERS TO PARTNER IN CREATING LINK ROADS

The Executive Chairman of Ado-odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa, has charged DUFIL, CWAY and other corporate organisations in the Council Area to partner with the Council in creating link roads for easy movement of vehicles.


The Council Boss made this charge when he led the management team of the Council on a working tour to DUFIL, the producers of Indomie Noodles and CWAY foods and beverages Nigeria LTD. He stated that he was aware of the challenges facing the companies in the Council Area, most especially the issue faced by company trucks who find it difficult to deliver their products due to bad road networks.  However, it is imperative for the two parties to work together for the betterment of the society.


He made it known that His Excellency, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, MFR, has addressed the issue of Joju-Sango, Sango-idiroko and Ijoko-Alagbole with palliative measures through the State Government Intervention, while Julius Berger continues to work in ensuring that the deadline for the rehabilitation of Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta road is met. He said that the Federal Road Management Agency (FERMA) is currently working on Ota-Idiroko road and by the time all these are completed there will be relief for the masses.


Hon. Musa also called on the management of DUFIL and CWAY foods and beverages Nigeria LTD.to collaborate with Ado-odo/Ota Local Government in creating linkroads that will ease traffic gridlock along  Iyana Ilogbo - Guarantee Trust Bank junction.

The factory manager of DUFIL, Mr. Shallesh Kainar, appreciated the initiative of the council Chairman for trying to bring relief to the communities. He stated that DUFIL has taken up some responsibility which are developmental to the Council Area. He highlighted the incessant flooding of Afobaje- koro Otun community which has affected lives and properties. He further added that the company has started the construction of drainage that will channel the water to Koro Otun. He also promised that the company will still do more by partnering with their Landlord Ado-odo/Ota Local Government to do more.


The Director of CWAY foods and beverages Nigeria LTD Mr Moses wang also thanked the Chairman for his vision to identify with corporate bodies within the Local Government. He highlighted some of the strides of the company in adding values to the socio economic growth of the Local Government and by extension the state.


He further explained that CWAY has strong commitment to it's customers, staff and host community and has demonstrated this commitment by ensuring their workforce is sourced within the local government and their social responsibility is carried out to benefit their host community. He also said that CWAY will partner with Ado-odo/Ota Local Government so as to move the Council forward.
