An Islamic Cleric has canvases for both formal and Islamic education for proper growth and development of the children. 

Speaking during the 8th Day Fidau of Prince Abdul-Ganiu Olanloye who died at the age of 100, on Sunday, 3rd October,  2021 at Igbogila in Egbado North of Ogun State, Imam Ganiu Elegbede enjoined parents at the occasion to spend all they could for the training of their children.

Elegbede who described the deceased as education loving father, said that Baba Onikoko popularly called never joke with his children's education, saying, that act has resulted into having both PhD holder, Medical Doctor and many successful people among his Children.

He also advocated for moral teaching in Islamic way in order to inculcate fear of Allah  that will lead to sane society.

While fielding interview with the newsmen, the Permanent Secretary, Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM who is also one of the deceased son, Dr. Abdulwaheed Olanloye said that Baba was a generous man when he was alive, adding that he spent for the religion and for the less privileged in the community.

He said baba during his life time never jokes with education of his children, adding that out of the proceed and of the Cocoa business comes medical doctor s, PhD holders and very successful children in their various field.

Praying that the Almighty Allah repose and grant Baba a peaceful journey to Paradise.
