The out-gone chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaji Akeem Shobayo has finally  reunited with the chairperson of the party, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde on Friday.

The duo who have been at loggerheads embraced each other when the ex chairman handed over the office and other properties of the party to her. 

The handing over ceremony held at the Party secretariat, Ejalonibu house, lafenwa Abeokuta which witnessed the Youth leader of the local government Hon. Solomon Akibo, the treasurer Mr Oluwaseun Akinpelu, and the organising secretary Mr Olagbeji Sabur.

Faidat hailed Shobayo' s efforts and commitment towards the progress of the party.

She maintained that the ex chairman has performed wonderfully well by moving the Party forward in the local government

She said " if someone called you a thief you must also prove that you are not a thief.You will never regret anything you do in life. 

"On behalf of the leadership of the Party, I want to praise  you for your great achievements in the local government. You have never let the members of the progressive party down, I want to say we are proud of you."
