WE ARE COMMITTED TO MONUMENTAL INFRASTRUCTURES - ABIODUN

 


Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has re-emphasized his administration's commitment to good governance through provision of monumental social infrastructures for the citizenry that would make life more comfortable for the citizenry.


The Governor, stated this at the installation and presentation of staff  of office to the new Efutide Solomade1 Negbuwa of Ibido, Oba Kolawole Adeyemi land in Sagamu Local Government Area of the State.


Governor Abiodun enjoined the new mornach to mobilize his subjects towards discharging their civic responsibilities by prompt payment of their taxes and other levies to to accelerate the pace of socio economy development of the community and the state in general.


The Governor urged the people to cooperate with the Oba as progress can only be achieved by the joint efforts of government and the people, thanking Remo Traditional Council and Ogun State Council of Obas for their unflinching support on the feats accomplished so far in the state.


Earlier in his speech, the Chairman, Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Jubril Odulate  lauded Prince Abiodun for the pace of infrastructural developments across the State, which he noted had improved people's livelihood, calling on people of Ibido to support the new Oba for more social-economic development of the area.


The Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remoland, Oba  Adewale Ajayi congratulated the new Oba imploring him to ensure peaceful coexistence among the people in the community as no meaningful development could be achieved in an atmosphere of rancor.


In his acceptance speech, the Efutide Solomade1 Negbuwa of Ibido, Oba Kolawole Adeyemi expressed joy and appreciation to the Governor and the people for their support during the selection and presentation of staff of office, soliciting their supports for of a successful reign.
