The Permanent Secretary, Hospitals Management Board (HMB), Dr. Quudus Yusuff said his agency is committed to efficient service delivery in hospitals, to enable residents to enjoy qualitative health care.

          Yusuff, who stated this during a familiarisation visit to some secondary health facilities in Egba zone, said plans are in top gear to digitalise hospital management to prevent financial leakages, ensure adequate data collation and assist in advocacy needs.

          He implored the hospital management team to always be punctual at work and monitor the activities of the workers, saying, "if the workers knew they are being monitored, they will definitely be on their toes".

          He applauded them for their teamwork and dedication to duties, encouraging them to support the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration at improving the wellness of the people.

       In his remark, the acting Chief Medical Director, State Hospital, Dr. Bababunmi Oshinaike, appreciated the Permanent Secretary and the board management team for the visit, promising to heed the advice given.

          Facilities visited include, State Hospital, Ijaiye, Oba Ademola Maternity Center, Ijemo and Dental Center, Abeokuta.
