The Chief Judge of Ogun State,  Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has admonished staff of the State Judiciary to embrace sporting activities for healthy living, maintaining good fitness and promotion of friendship.

Justice Dipeolu made the call at the 7th edition of the Chief Judge's Cup at M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, with football matches between Yewa and Ijebu-Ode divisions, as well as Abeokuta and Sagamu divisions of the State Judiciary.

The Chief Judge stated that sports were essential and should be part of people's daily activities, saying ”apart from a football match, we also have different kinds of competition in the Judiciary divisions of the State, which are table tennis, draft and ‘ayo-olopon’,among others”.

Therefore, the Yewa division emerged the winner with four goals, while Ijebu-Ode had three goals. For the Abeokuta and Sagamu divisions, Abeokuta won with four goals and Sagamu took the second position with three goals.

          In the same vein, the first position for the table tennis game, ‘ayo-olopon’ and draft competitions were Sunday Komolafe, Saheed Soroke and Clement Adepegba respectively.

Awards were later presented by Justice Dipeolu to the winners in each category of the game, where she pointed out that the matches were innovative.
