The Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Environment, Amb. Farouq Akintunde has graduated with a second class upper degree in criminology and strategic studies from the Protestant University of West Africa at the Republic of Benin.
The degree was awarded on Abiodun's aide during the convocation ceremony of the University held yesterday after meeting all requirements of the school authorities.
Amb. Farouq is one of the graduands in the school with B.SC in Criminology and Strategic studies with second class upper division.
The Vice chancellor of the University described Amb. Farouq Akintunde as highly qualified, distinguished Nigerian whose eminence in his respective endeavours cannot be questioned.
He said Farouq Akintunde has been found worthy both in learning and character as he has been resolute in his academic pursuit throughout his studies.
Meanwhile, Abiodun's aide expressed happiness over the academic achievements bestowed on him.
He submitted that he was thrilled to bag second class upper degree.
"It is one of the most meaningful achievement that am proud of and one that I will cherish for a very long time to come,”
He therefore used the medium to urge the children to always seek for knowledge as one of the panacea to different challenges confronting the country.
He also use the opportunity to appeal to all Nigerians to support a presidential candidate under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win at the polls.
Farouq Akintunde also rallied support for the re-election bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun in Ogun State.
