A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State, Dr. Ololade Kehinde has mourned the death of late  Rasheed Adebowale who was  a leader of the party (APC).

Abiodun's aide in a condolence statement personally signed by his media aide, Osoba Olajide said the death of the APC Chieftain came to him as a shock.

He described the late elder statesman as a consummate politician who advanced the cause of humanity wherever he founds himself.

The APC Chieftain said the late politician was his political mentor from ward 4, Abeokuta South Local Government.

He added that the demise of late Rasheed was a great loss to the state and APC.

He also commiserated with the people of Abeokuta South, especially ward 4.

According to him, the  deceased was a gentleman-politician and political leader per excellence whose good deeds can not be forgotten.

He said'' my mind goes out to his family both immediate and extended. He was a father to us all. I am saddened by his demise because he was a man of of integrity and a great politician.  I prayed to God to accept the deceased’s soul and grant fortitude to the family and friends to bear the loss.
