Staffers in the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, and its three agencies have been charged to work harmoniously towards improved productivity and better service delivery to the public.

This charge was given by the newly posted Permanent Secretary to the Ministry, Engr. Olayiwola Abiodun during the inaugural meeting with management staff at the Ministry’s Conference Room in Abeokuta.

Engr. Abiodun said his posting is to add value to the Ministry with a growth mindset to achieve its policy thrust, noting that Civil Servants should conduct themselves well with high sense of responsibility.

The Permanent Secretary said, ‘’Civil Servants as landlords, who know every corner of the house and can provide the necessary guidance to the political class towards achieving the present administration’s goal, for the overall benefit of the citizenry”.

In a similar development, Engr. Olakunle Olaniran has been appointed as the new Acting General Manager for Ogun State Building Production Management Authority (OGBPMA), while TPL Idowu James serves as the Acting General Manager of Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).

The new appointment was contained in a statement by the Commissioner in the Ministry, TPL Olatunji Odunlami,adding that TPL Olugbemisola Jolaoluwa, formerly Head of Development Matters Department in the Ministry, has been appointed as the Head of Department, Planning Permit, under Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
