Owolabi Ogunjimi, popularly called Lamborghini by friends and admirers, will on thursday, 17th August, 2023, be installed as the Otunba Tayese of Idenaland, Iperu Remo, in Ikenne Local Government area of Ogun State.

The honour according to a letter of conferment, dated 6th february, 2023, and  signed by the Ebi of Idenaland, His Royal Highness, Oba Lukman Adebambo Salami, is in recognition of Ogunjimi's laudable contributions to both human and infrastructural development of Idenaland, and also in consideration of his notable achievements, having distinguished himself in character, chosen career, and love for humanity.

The installation will hold at the Ebi of Idena's palace, along Ibu road, Iperu, while reception is slated to hold afterwards at an event centre, also at Iperu. The fuji sensation, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, will entertain guests at the event.

Ogunjimi, a public health educator/advisor based in New Jersey, United States of America, is a socialite of repute, and a member and one of the Agba Egbe of the foremost traditional age-grade group in Remoland, Egbe Degbuyi Remo.

Members of the group under the leadership of Giwa, Gbuyi Alaba Ogunsola, will grace the event to identify with the honoree, who is well-valued and highly-regarded within the group. He also belongs to the 50/50 Club of Iperu.

Born in Makun, Sagamu on the 27th february, 1970, he attended the St. Paul's Primary School, Makun, Sagamu (afternoon section), and later finished his primary education at St. John's Catholic School, Iperu. For his secondary education, he attended the Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu between 1982 and 1987. He served as president of the Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Students Association (85-90 Sets), between 2017 and 2022.

For his higher education, Ogunjimi attended the Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta and Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, respectively, having the Ordinary and Higher National Diplomas in Town and Regional Planning from both institutions. He also acquired a Bachelor in Environmental Studies from the Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York, and he  equally holds a Masters degree in Public Health.

Happily married to his heartthrob, Bisola; the union is blessed with three loving children - Ayomide, Olamilekan, and Eniola.
