A total of 107 students will be awarded various degrees as Hallmark University, Ijebu itele, Ogun State, Holds it's Maiden and 1st to 5th combined convocation ceremonies for the award of first Degrees and Conferment of Honourary Degree on Wednesday and Thursday.

Among these, 26 will be awarded First Class Honors and conferment of Honourary Degree to Awujale Of Ijebuland, Oba Dr Sikiru Adetona and founder of the University, Chief Dr. Mrs Leila Fowler MFR.

The Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Professor Segun Odunola disclosed this on Wednesday during a press conference to highlight activities for the Convocation.

He said 8 years ago the University opened it's Gate to commence Operation and to be one of the Five Universities that was license by the Federal Government of Nigeria. 

In his word" we commence Academic activities immediately with 2 Faculties, Faculty of Natural and Applied science and the faculty of Management and Social science. Over the last 8 years the University has gone through different processes, subjecting itself to regulatory Agencies.

Prof. Odunola said the University is fully accredited adding that all it's courses are accredited and has graduated 5 set of students in the Last four years.

" This Convocation is going to be a combined one and it will be presenting the 1st and 5th set graduate students spread across the Faculties. In the last 8 years we have been running 15 programmes. The subject and the teachers are up to standard and we are not surprise that in 2021, the University was listed among 25 through out the federation that has all it's courses on full Accreditation." The Vice chancellor Said.

He then hinted that the  University will continue to be in Excellent Standard to the Regulatory Agencies.
