The Iperu Indigenes Forum has expressed a heartfelt and warmest birthday felicitations to the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, CON, on his 65th birthday anniversary, which holding today, 29th May, 2025.

The forum in its message of felicitations jointly signed by the Convener, Prince Ladi OLABINJO; and Administrators, High Chief Barr. Ifasola Saheed OPEODU, the Oluwo of IPERU and Otunba Adebayo SALAMI; as well as the Media Officer, Temitope OYEKAN; felicitates the governor on his birthday, and also congratulates him on the Six years anniversary in office as the governor of the gateway state.

The forum wished the governor, an illustrious son Iperu Akesanland, a happy birthday, and a more rewarding and remarkable celebrations, as it prayed that God will grant him the wisdom and zeal required to further deliver on his Building Our Future Together agenda for Ogun State, in line with his ISEYA Mantra.

The birthday boy was commended for the Sagamu-Iperu-Ode road project; the Gateway Agro Cargo Airport, Iperu; the Gateway Aviation Housing Estate, Iperu; and the Special Agro Processing Zone, also at Iperu; just as he was urged to consider the construction of more quality intra-city roads that will aid local transportation and accommodate the attendant traffic increase that will be occasioned by the cargo airport operations.

While applauding the governor on the Gateway Agro Cargo Airport, Iperu, which is likely to commence scheduled flights soon, consequent upon securing the necessary approval and licensing from regulatory agencies, the forum urged the number 1 citizen and the state government to urgently address the misnormer created by FAAN ceding the location of the aviation facility to another town rather than Iperu. 

Prince Dapo ABIODUN was also admonished on his plans to reconstruct the Siun-Iperu-Ogere-Ilisan Road, the contract which was awarded last year, and the metro rail line (Purpleline) project that will connect from Mowe to Iperu that was captured in his 2025 budget proposal.
