Abeokuta, Ogun State - In a bid to further enhance the productivity and efficiency of its workforce, the Ogun State Government, under the leadership of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, has reiterated its commitment to capacity building for its employees. This commitment is in line with the ISEYA Agenda, which places emphasis on building a robust and dynamic workforce capable of driving the state's development goals.
As part of this initiative, the Ogun State Government has declared open a 2-day workshop titled "Safe Wheels, Healthy Living" for drivers and automobile maintenance staff in government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and Parastatals. The workshop, which is being held at the Staff Development Centre, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure safe driving practices and promote healthy living.
The event was declared open by the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, who emphasized the importance of capacity building in driving the state's development agenda. He noted that the workshop is a crucial step towards enhancing the performance and productivity of the workforce, and ultimately, towards achieving the state's development goals.
