The publisher of Ovation Magazines, Dele Momodu has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike of introducing him to drinking strong alcohol that could enable him to function.

Momodu said this during an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, July 7.

According to the publisher, Wike introduced him to Akkeshi, a Japanese whisky known for its peated single malts.

He claimed the Minister takes Akkeshi every morning before going about his daily activities.

Momodu noted that the minister has developed such a heavy drinking habit to the extent that Wike barely functions without alcohol in his system.

“Wike is consumed by the power he holds. The spirit of power and money is demonic when not managed properly.

“He drinks early in the morning. He introduced me to Akkeshi, a strong alcohol, saying it helps him function. This is someone in public office.
