Hon. (Barr) Olufemi Adeleke Ogunbanwo(Omo-Iwa), Member representing Ijebu Ode, Odogbolu, and Ijebu North East Federal Constituency, has once again demonstrated exemplary representation by commencing the construction of high-powered solar-powered boreholes across key locations in his constituency.

These strategically planned boreholes, implemented in partnership with the Energy Commission of Nigeria, are designed to tackle persistent water and energy challenges, ensuring a reliable supply of clean water powered by renewable energy sources.

Construction is currently ongoing simultaneously at three locations:

Isiwo-Ijebu in Ijebu Ode Local Government

Ala-Ijebu in Odogbolu Local Government

Odo-Kalaba-Ijebu in Ijebu North East Local Government

This initiative forms part of Honourable Ogunbanwo's broader vision for grassroots development, improved living conditions, and sustainable infrastructure. The solar-powered boreholes will significantly reduce dependence on fuel-powered systems, offering a cleaner, more reliable, and environmentally friendly solution to the age-old problem of water scarcity.
