The Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Hon. Dare Alebiosu, has embarked on a series of visible and impactful projects across the local government area, aimed at improving the quality of life for the residents.
Unveiling the people-centered initiatives during an interview session in his office, Hon. Alebiosu said the projects were focused on enhancing healthcare, infrastructure and environmental sanitation within the council area, noting, it was a deliberate resolve of his administration to concentrate on the wellbeing of the people in his Local Government (LG), which is in tandem with the vision of the present government in the State.
He emphasised his dedication to fulfilling campaign promises, stating that Ijebu-Ode LG would continue to benefit from people-oriented projects as his tenure remained focused on building a stronger, more vibrant community for all.
The Chairman also expressed gratitude to the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his continuous support for grassroots development and local government administration.
The projects, include the renovation of several key health facilities: Apebi Health Center, Irawo Health Center, Itamapako Health Center, Sabo-Molode Health Center and the full reconstruction of Oke-Aje Health Center.
Other were the renovation of Moslems Primary School in Sabo, conversion of 2 boreholes at the Yemule Abattoir to solar energy for constant water supply, purchase of a 300KVA transformer for the Molipa community and the desilting of drainage systems at Apebi and Joke Taiwo Street all in Ijebu-Ode.
