The Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) has embarked on a sensitisation exercise to Prince Court Estate, Kobape, Abeokuta, as part of efforts at ensuring that property owners obtain planning permits while complying with the development scheme of Government Residential Areas. 

 Acting General Manager, TPL. Itunu Jolaoluwa, while speaking during the sensitisation exercise in Abeokuta, emphasised that one of the duties of the Authority was to ensure that government layouts were not tampered with, stating that all properties in the State must have planning permits in line with the Ogun State Urban and Regional Development   (OGURPD) Law 2022 and the attendant  regulation.

"There is a development plan.  We are here to tell the allottees they should conform to the layout plan and not to have any infractions or distort it.There's landscaping for greenery which must not be tampered with for any development," she said.

Also speaking, Deputy Head of Department, TPL. Michael Adetunji, noted that there were 32 zonal offices across the State saddled with the responsibilities to ensure that all CDAs and citizens easily have access to necessary information and Town planning services.

Responding on behalf of the residents, Chairman of the Estate, Mr. Felix Fashina, appreciated the Authority for the enlightenment and hoped for a better working relationship between the agency and the residents.
