The Moringa Friends & Family Club, a noble, social and emerging club in Abeokuta has held its maiden annual general meeting and inducted Rt. Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka the Deputy Chief Whip of the Federal House of Representatives as Patron as well sworn in new executive members that would steer the affairs of the club for the next two years.

Speaking at the superlative gathering held at the Continental Suites, Hon. Moruf Afolabi Afuwape member Federal House of Representatives who was the Special Guest at the event commended the leadership and members of the club for nurturing a group sitting into becoming another great club of repute that would soon gain national recognition and relevance.

Hon Afuwape who charged the club on disciplined and to uphold moral etiquette that would distinguish it from others also admonished them to give back to the society and impact on their immediate environment.

In his acceptance speech,  the new Patron of the club Rt Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka who was represented by Chief Babatunde Yinusa appreciated the club for keeping the spirit of love, unity and brotherhood alive. He reatriated his continuous support for the club noting that the standard they have set with their first annual general meeting would make them a toast in Abeokuta, Ogun State and beyond.

In his address, the President of the Club Engr. Chief Alexander Mazoya the Aare Bobajiro of Ibara Kingdom said that the club had over the years achieved remarkable milestones, strengthened bonds and created unforgettable memories.

Engr. Mazoya maintained that the club would continue to build on the foundation that has been laid, the success of the first annual general meeting and commitment of members to develop the club to the desired enviable heights.

Earlier while welcoming members and invited guests, the Chairman of the planning committee Mr. Deji Sowunmi noted that Moringa Friends and Family Club was created with a shared desire to promote development, foster unity and impact on the society.

He noted that the founding members envisioned an organization that connects like-minded individuals and also to serve as a vehicle for positive change within Ogun State and beyond.

Highlights of the event was the Investiture of Patron, swearing in of the President and executive members, induction of new members.
