…….Donates Solar Streetlights, and Facilitates Transformer.

The Leader of the 10th Legislative Council of Ijebu-Ode Local Government and Councillor representing Ward 11, Rt. Hon. Clement Olusesan Adenaike, has empowered over 100 constituents with cash support, facilitated more than 20 solar streetlights to the Odo Agboju community, and a new transformer to improve electricity supply within his constituency.

This was disclosed during an interview with infopalavanews.com.

Hon. Adenaike explained that empowerment goes beyond giving out funds; it is about equipping people with the tools they need to thrive. He added that 10 individuals have been empowered every month since he assumed office as the Leader of the 10th Legislative Council.

According to him, “The cash support will help many struggling families, traders, and young entrepreneurs strengthen their ventures amid rising economic challenges.”

Alongside the financial empowerment, facilitated 20 solar streetlights were handed over to communities in the constituency. The initiative is expected to enhance security, stimulate commercial activities at night, and reduce dependence on the public power supply.

Furthermore, Hon. Adenaike facilitated a new transformer for Irawo Community , aimed at boosting electricity supply across the constituency.

Some beneficiaries and residents, including Mrs. Ayodele Agnes and Mr. Damilare Austin, in their separate remarks expressed appreciation for the gesture as they describe it as timely and impactful, while expressing hope for more developmental projects.

The empowerment programme, donation of solar streetlights, and facilitation of the transformer represent another milestone in the lawmaker’s ongoing effort to deliver tangible development, reinforce community welfare, and promote sustainable growth in his constituency.
