The recently appointed General Manager, Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA), Hon. Kehinde Ayodeji Bello, has resumed office.
He takes over from Hon. Farouk Akintunde, the immediate-past boss of the Agency.
Hon. Kehinde Bello, a cerebral business man, who has managed both human and capital resources successfully, was born in Ijebu-Imushin, Ijebu-East Local Government Area of Ogun State. He would be bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience into the administration of OGEPA.
Addressing the management and entire members of staff of the agency, the new Ogepa boss charged the staff to be more dedicated to duty and uphold professionalism. He reminded them of the pivotal roles Ogepa was playing in the protection of the environment and all other related issues, urging them to adhere strictly to environmental impacts assessment indices in order to provide a cleaner and safer environment for the people, noting that, together, they would be a game changer in the management of the environment and all other associated issues that could pose as challenges to safe living.
He assured the staff of qualitative leadership during his tenure as the General Manager of the agency, maintaining that a clean environment naturally would breed healthy people.
The new GM is a successful businessman with diverse business interests, holding positions on the boards of companies both in Nigeria and abroad.
He attended Moslem Primary School and St. Anthony Grammar School, both in Ijebu-Imushin.
His higher education included degrees from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in Ogun State and Wescliff University, California, United States of America,
