Delu Empowers Over 50 Party Members With Cash, Organises Free Medical Outreach In Abeokuta South LG




The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Youth Empowerment, Hon. Tunde Adeluola, popularly known as Delu on Monday organized free medical outreach to the people of Igbore community and donated borehole to them.




Hon. Adeluola also empowered over 50 members of the party (APC) in the community with cash as to put smiles on their faces.




The event which took place at Igbore Hall in Abeokuta had in attendance leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC and members of the party in the local government.






Hon. Tunde Adeluola while speaking with newsmen during the program said the kind gesture was one of his promises to his people which he has finally fulfilled, adding that he has plans of doing more.




He also submitted that the initiative is a way of giving back to his community who has been supporting him with prayers.





The SSA to the Governor on Youth Empowerment reiterated his commitment and dedication to the improvement of the welfare of his people in the community.




He urged the public to make proper use of the borehole  so that it will serve them for long time.




"This is my community, i  am from ward 13, Igbore community, Abeokuta South Local Government, today as part of my efforts to support our amiable Governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun at grassroots, I have  decided  today to donate borehole to our people, organize free medical outreach to them and empower them with cash to support their businesses. This community has lacked access to water and that is why i have decided to give them life because they say  "water is life"




"I want to urge the community to make proper use of the borehole,  believe in the policies of Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun and the Federal Government and  they should also have hope that there will be improvement in the economy of the country.




He urged other political appointees to give back  to his people with whatever they have.







A former Council Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government who is also from the community, Chief Tajudeen Lemboye commended Hon. Delu for his kind gesture, saying that he has made them proud in the community.




Chief Tajudeen Lemboye said Delu is a man of his words and young politician who has written his name in gold.




He appreciated him for giving back to his people, saying that many politicians like him have failed to do what he has been doing.




Chief Lemboye urged him not to relent in his efforts in improving the welfare of the people of his community.




The Councilor representing ward 13, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Jasul said he was not surprised about the kind gesture of Hon. Delu, saying that this is not his first time of giving back to his community.




He appreciated him for his good deeds, saying that what he has done will go a long way in improving the lives of the people 




Also the Legislative aide to Senator Godswill Akpabio, Hon. Wilfred Olufemi Allen-Taylor described Delu as a promising politician, saying that this is not his first time of giving back to his people.




He added that the Governor’s aide has empowered some many party members before now, urging other Governor’s appointees to emulate him.





Also the ward 13 chairman, also hailed Hon.  Adeluola for his kind gesture, describing him as a promise keeper and politician with large heart.




He called on the people of the community to make proper use of the borehole donated to them, adding that Hon. Delu has given them life because "water is life"





“We thank you for this timely gesture, it is highly appreciated, I pray that God will grant you the zeal to keep doing more to the community



"We  assure you that the facility will be used for the purpose it’s meant for to the benefit of all,” the ward chairman assured.
