The family of the late Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V), FIEX, FICMC, has expressed profound gratitude to individuals, institutions, and well-wishers who stood by them and contributed immensely to the success of the one-year remembrance ceremony of the revered monarch.
In a thank-you message issued on behalf of the family, Princess Adeyosola IDOWU-BASIBO, daughter of the late monarch, described the outpouring of love, support, prayers, and guidance as overwhelming and deeply touching.
According to her, the family is still in awe of the level of commitment, solidarity, and goodwill shown throughout the remembrance period. She noted that the support went beyond expectation and will forever remain etched in their hearts.
Princess IDOWU-BASIBO prayed that God, in His infinite mercy, would supply all the needs of everyone who stood with the family, shower His love upon their homes and lives, and raise helpers for them whenever the need arises. She further prayed that the Almighty would perfect all that concerns them, grant them gladness, protect them and their families from all forms of evil, and ensure that their latter glory surpasses the former.
She added that as the people stood firmly by the family, heaven would also stand firmly by them, affirming that affliction would not arise again and that all would live long lives marked by good health, greatness, comfort, and abundance, in Jesus’ mighty name.
The family specifically acknowledged and appreciated the following dignitaries and groups for their remarkable roles and presence:
