Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Papalanto Ward, Ewekoro Local Government Area, have officially endorsed Hon. Biodun Adeleye FCTI, FCA, as the party’s consensus candidate for the 2027 Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA) election.

The endorsement was announced on Friday, 24th April 2026, at the Ward Secretariat in Papalanto, following a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting.

Dignitaries present at the gathering included members of the Apex body of the party, Alhaji Olawoyin; the Ward Party Chairman, Chief Segun Eniburumo; past councillors; the current councillor, Hon. Azeez Olawoyin (Sisco); Supervisor for Works and Housing, Hon. Babalola Bello (Babs); members of the Local Government Executive Committee; Evang. Segun Ojo; Chief Akoti; ward executives; as well as women and youth leaders.

Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, Alhaji Afeez Olawoyin, former Caretaker Chairman and Executive Vice Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, stated that the endorsement reflects the collective confidence of the ward in Hon. Biodun Adeleye’s competence, leadership capacity, and commitment to effective representation.

He noted that the decision was reached after careful consideration and wide consultations, emphasizing that Hon. Adeleye possesses the experience and dedication required to deliver quality representation and attract meaningful development to the constituency.

The leaders further called on party members and the general public to rally behind Hon. Adeleye as the preferred candidate, expressing optimism that his emergence will strengthen the party’s chances and ensure victory in the 2027 elections.
