A house of assembly candidate in Ewekoro local government, Ogun State Hon. Abiodun Adeleye FCA FCTI has been screened by the All Progressives Congress, APC in the State.

Recall that Hon. Abiodun Adeleye emerged as consensus candidate for the position of house of assembly in Ewekoro State Constituency.

The candidate who was received by members of the screening committee, expressed confidence in the transparency and credibility of the exercise, describing the process as a reflection of the APC’s commitment to internal democracy and due process.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the screening, he reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and expressed appreciation to party leaders and supporters across his constituency for their continued encouragement and support.

“I particularly appreciate the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, my party leaders in the constituency, and the good people of Ewekoro State Constituency for their continued support,” he stated.

Hon. Adeleye also pledged to remain committed to the ideals of good governance, effective representation, and grassroots development, noting that the progress of Ogun State remains a collective responsibility.

Party faithful and supporters who accompanied the lawmaker commended his leadership style, contributions to the progress of the party and development of his constituency 

The APC screening exercise forms part of the party’s preparations to ensure that qualified and credible candidates emerge through its internal democratic processes.
