The Ogun State House of Assembly through its Committee on Finance and Appropriation has scheduled its budget performance assessment for the first quarter ( January - March) to commence on Monday, 11th of May, 2026, starting from 10.00am prompt daily.

A release by the Clerk/ Head of Legislative Service, Mr. Sakiru Adebakin, indicated that ” the exercise, which is part of the constitutional responsibility of the legislative arm, is meant to assess the level of compliance of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government to the State’s 2026 Appropriation Law, which is meant to ensure value for government resources in policy and project implementation”.

According to the statement, all Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government are to attend the exercise in line with the schedule earlier sent to them commencing from Monday,  11th May, through 19th of May, 2026.
