The Member representing Ijebu Ode State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Bakare Omolola Olanrewaju Serifat, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on his emergence as the APC governorship candidate in Ogun State.

Recall that Senator Yayi emerged victorious in the party’s primary election held on Thursday after polling 304,005 votes to defeat Mr. Abayomi Hunye.

In a congratulatory statement made available to journalists, Hon. Bakare described the Senator’s victory as well-deserved, noting that he has consistently demonstrated commitment, integrity, and exemplary leadership.

The lawmaker stated that Senator Yayi has paid his dues and remains a trusted leader with the capacity to move Ogun State forward.

She also commended the people of Ogun State for their continued belief in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and in Senator Yayi’s vision for the development of the state.

“The people of Ogun State have once again demonstrated their confidence in Senator Yayi through their overwhelming support. I urge residents to sustain this support as he works toward taking the state to greater heights,” she said.

Hon. Bakare further applauded party stakeholders and residents across the state for their massive support during the primary election, describing Senator Yayi as the right choice for the future of Ogun State.

She added that the emergence of Senator Yayi as the party’s candidate is a positive development for the state and expressed confidence in his ability to provide purposeful leadership and advance the progress of Ogun State.
