Residents of Ijari Community in Ijebu North East Local Government Area have expressed joy and appreciation following the installation of a new transformer installed and Energized by the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Folusho Badejo.

The transformer, which was  installed and energized recently, is expected to significantly improve power supply in the community, bringing relief to residents and business owners who have endured persistent electricity challenges.

Speaking during the installation, Hon. Folusho Badejo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the welfare of the people across all communities in the local government area. 

He noted that access to reliable electricity remains essential for economic growth, education, healthcare delivery, and overall community development.

According to the chairman, the energization and Installation of the transformer forms part of his administration’s ongoing efforts to address critical needs and deliver tangible dividends of democracy to the people of Ijebu North East.

Professor Alfred Fatade commended the chairman for responding to their long-standing request, describing the project as timely and impactful. 

He noted that the installation and Energization of the transformer would boost commercial activities, support small-scale businesses, and improve the quality of life for households in the area.

Recall that the installation of the transformer adds to a growing list of developmental projects being undertaken by the Ijebu North East Local Government administration under the leadership of Hon. Folusho Badejo, aimed at promoting sustainable growth and improving living standards across the council area.
