The Chairman, Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Odulate, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructural development to boost economic activities and improve the standard of living of residents in the Council Area.
Ogbeni Odulate, made the disclosure while inspecting the ongoing renovation and almost completed ultra-modern lock-up shops and open stalls at Falawo market.
He noted that the visit was aimed at accessing the level of work done and identifying areas requiring minor corrections and adjustments before completion, saying that on completion, the project would boost the economic activities of the area.
“This inspection would provide an opportunity to ensure that all necessary adjustments are made to enhance the quality, functionality and overall comfort of the facilities for traders and other market users before its official commissioning,” he said.
While commending the standard of the project, the LG Boss, appreciated Governor Dapo Abiodun for his support to grassroots development, which had enabled his administration to embark on remarkable infrastructural projects across the area.
In her remark, Iyaloja General of Remoland and Iyaloja Falawo, Chief (Mrs.) Olasode Oduwaye, commended the State government and the Chairman for the initiative, promising to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities after completion and allocation.
Reacting, a trader, Alh. Ganiyat Adekunle, commended the government for the development, describing it as a clear demonstration of good governance.
