It was a beautiful moment of shared joy, goodwill, and legislative camaraderie today at the Ogun State House of Assembly complex as distinguished lawmakers took time off their busy schedules to honour one of their own, Hon. Fola Salami, on the occasion of his 55th birthday.

True to his person and in sensitivity to the current times, the lawmaker representing Ifo II State Constituency opted for a low-key gathering, turning the milestone into a moment of sober reflection and deep appreciation for the State and nation.

Despite the quiet nature of the celebration, the floor of the House came alive with warmth and heartfelt tributes, as  fellow honourable members took turns to commend Hon. Salami, describing him as a dedicated public servant, a voice of wisdom and a reliable bridge-builder. 

The Assemblymen lauded his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people and his immense contributions to the growth and development of the State, offering prayers for renewed health, divine wisdom and greater accomplishments.

Deeply moved by the overwhelming show of solidarity, Hon. Fola Salami expressed his profound gratitude to almighty God for the precious gift of life, while extending his heartfelt appreciation to the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Assembly leadership, his co-lawmakers and supporters in attendance, noting that the robust friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect shared within the hallowed chambers remained the driving force behind their collective success.

He concluded by reassuring the gathering of his relentless commitment to people-centred governance and impactful representation for the good people of Ifo II State Constituency.
