In cheer display of support and conformity with the Corporate Social Responsibility of associations, the Rotary Club of Elega has donated a Traffic Control Stand to the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) for the use of operatives at the Elega Junction.
Presenting the traffic control stand, the Club President, Rotarian Timothy Sofela, said the donation was the club’s way of extending a hand of fellowship to TRACE, while supporting effective traffic management and enhancing road safety at the busy junction.
Rotarian Sofela, commended TRACE for its creditable performance in ensuring traffic safety across Ogun State roads, particularly around Elega Junction, Mokola and other major axis.
He noted that TRACE personnel had remained dutiful even in difficult times, adding that their dedication inspired the Rotary Club to provide road traffic control stand to support their operations.
Receiving the donation, the Most Senior Commander, Commander, Elias Omonayajo, represented by the Abeokuta Divisional Commander, Cmdr. Opeoluwa Adekoya , thanked the Rotary Club of Elega for the kind gesture.
He described the donation as both timely and thoughtful, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to ensuring safer roads for all road users in Ogun State.
