INVESTORS URGED TO ADOPT PMB ESTATE, PPP MODEL FOR HOUSING EXPANSION IN OGUN




The Ogun State Government has said that the newly commissioned President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) Estate in Abeokuta is a prime example of modern housing, urging investors to replicate the successful Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model across other areas in the State.


The Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC) and Special Projects, Prince Farooq Adenugba, made this known in Abeokuta, during the official commissioning of the PMB estate, calling it a symbol of the State's dedication to high-quality urban development and infrastructure.


Prince Adenugba, stated that the PMB Estate, comprising of 108 units of four-bedroom fully detached and semi-detached duplexes, sitting on land mass of 900 square meters, adding that the contemporary design was supported by premium estate infrastructure.


He explained further that the four en-suite bedrooms, had a boys' quarter, a master suite with a walk-in closet, expansive living and dining areas, a family lounge, a study, a guest toilet, and a private terrace.


Prince Adenugba, emphasised the estate's comprehensive amenities, including paved roads, street lighting, landscaped greenery, a reliable water supply, centralized waste management, sports facilities, a playground, a clubhouse, uninterrupted power, ample parking, and 24/7 security.


He said the project was  a clear demonstration of Governor Dapo Abiodun's commitment to increasing access to modern housing, saying that the estate was ready for immediate occupancy.


Prince Adenugba, noted that some potential buyers had shown keen interest in the estate, highlighting its strategic location opposite the State Judiciary Complex and near the Ogun TechHub, which would provide easy access to key commercial and transport hubs.


Dignitaries at the event included the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of Ogun State Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, Senator, representing Ogun West, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Katsina State Governor , Malam , Dikko Umar Radda, management staff of OPIC, Housing, Agriculture and others.
